- I've noticed when using Epoch 4.2 that screen refresh logic is very
- sub-optimal when compared to Emacs 18.58.
-
- Is there some setting or #define that needs to be done to restore the
- Emacs-style screen refresh logic? I don't see one, as it would appear that
- the screen display logic is pretty well completely new for Epoch.
-
- The reason for asking is that it makes a significant difference when you're
- using Epoch on the end of a 9.6 kbit XRemote link. Operations which used to
- use the scroll-region or insert-mode editing now redrway the entire display
- region. A hugh slowdown at 9.6.
-
- please response via email; i'll summarize and re-post.
- thanks,
