  13. I've noticed when using Epoch 4.2 that screen refresh logic is very
  14. sub-optimal when compared to Emacs 18.58.

  16. Is there some setting or #define that needs to be done to restore the
  17. Emacs-style  screen refresh logic? I don't see one, as it would appear that
  18. the screen display logic is pretty well completely new for Epoch.

  20. The reason for asking is that it makes a significant difference when you're
  21. using Epoch on the end of a 9.6 kbit XRemote link. Operations which used to
  22. use the scroll-region or insert-mode editing now redrway the entire display
  23. region. A hugh slowdown at 9.6.
