- Description of the problem:
-
- I log in via 2400 bd modem (and through a CISCO box) to a DecStation
- 5000 running Ultrix 4.2 (using a Z29 terminal in ANSI mode)
- ==> Everythilng is OK (stty everything reports "-pass8")
- I run emacs 18.57 (no problem here) and exit.
- ==> Half the keys on my keyboard are dead (stty all reports "pass8")
-
- Temporary solution: create an alias (from those keys that work) that
- does "stty -pass8" and use it after running emacs.
