  20. For me, straight comedies are funny to see once or twice, but to have
  21. any kind of enduring quality, there has to be some substance behind
  22. the comedy.  Urusei Yatsura (and to a lesser extent, Ranma 1/2) has
  23. that kind of story behind the fun.

  25. Maison Ikkoku, on the other hand, places the emphasis on the story
  26. of Godai and Kyoko, and the fun is a natural consequence of story...
  27.
