- We're thinking of investing in an X-terminal to attach to our SPARCstation,
- and we've been looking at products from Human Designed Systems (HDS): either
- the FX17c, with a 17-inch color monitor (1280x1024 pixels), or the FX17, with
- 17-inch greyscale monitor (1024x864). A recent post to info.sun-managers
- discussed X-terminal options, but no mention was made of HDS equipment.
-
- Has anyone used Xterminals (or any other equipment, for that matter) from
- this company? Has anyone *heard* of them? We'd like to know what kind of
- company we'd be dealing with as well as any salient details about how well
- their Xterminals work with Suns, etc.
-
- Please note that we're not planning on setting up a network or anything;
- we just want to use our Sparc's CPU a little more efficiently (i.e., a little
- more frequently).
-
- Thanks for your help. I'll gladly post summaries of anything sent to me via
- e-mail.
