  18. Has anyone out there try to connecting your printer with your
  19. X-terminal's serial port? Just like your PC, you connected the
  20. printer to COM1 or COM2. Right now I connected the printers to
  21. the workstation ttya and ttyb ports. Everytime I print somethings,
  22. I have to walk 100 feet(one way only) to get my print out!
  23.     There is no problem to connect the printer to the X-terminal
  24. serial port. The question is how and what command(s) to redirect the
  25. print job to my X-terminal's serial port? If you know the answers, 
  26. please reply or(and) followup. Please don't tell me the expense way,
  27. buy a print server or printer with an Ethernet interface board.

  29. I can do the opposite way, redirect my PC's print job from COM port
  30. to Ethernet interface card, and print out at workstation tty# port.
