- Sorry if this has been asked before...
-
- Does anyone know how to input kana/kanji characters on a sun sparc
- running X11R5/Motif 1.2? There's a chapter in the O'Reilly book
- "R5 Update" entitled "Internationalized Text Input" but the paragraph
- at the bottom of pg. 110 states "but I was never able to figure out how
- to actually make use of the input method to input Japanese". My guess
- is that Xsi or Xim is required. Has anyone got this to work?
-
- Is it possible to use Apple's KanjiTalk package to input the chars and
- then xfer the files to unix in some format (16bit ASCII) that X11R5
- will interpret?
-
- Other suggestions?
-
- Thanks in advance,
- dave
