  22. Does anyone know how to input kana/kanji characters on a sun sparc
  23. running X11R5/Motif 1.2?  There's a chapter in the O'Reilly book
  24. "R5 Update" entitled "Internationalized Text Input" but the paragraph
  25. at the bottom of pg. 110 states "but I was never able to figure out how
  26. to actually make use of the input method to input Japanese".  My guess
  27. is that Xsi or Xim is required.  Has anyone got this to work?

  29. Is it possible to use Apple's KanjiTalk package to input the chars and
  30. then xfer the files to unix in some format (16bit ASCII) that X11R5
  31. will interpret?
