- System synopsis: Domain/OS 10.3.5, ATR, PCs running DOS 5.0, Microsoft
- LAN Manager 2.1, 3COM TCP/IP software and 3COM NFS.
-
- I have several Domain nodes on the token ring and one on the ethernet.
- I also have several HP-UX machines (300/400) running 8.0 on the
- ethernet. I successfully compiled and am running 3comnfsd on one of the
- machines and told it to take care of servicing/authorizing all the other
- nodes. While I can nfs link just about any HP-UX machine I cannot link
- the Domain machines (which I can successfully nfs mount with HP-UX nfs.)
-
-
- I thought I should try compiling and running the 3comnfsd on the Domain
- machine however it doesn't seem to know about several header files. I
- tried compiling it with SYSTYPE sys5.3 and bsd4.3 as well as steal a few
- header files from the HP-UX machines. That just drove the source code
- for the 3comnfsd nuts.
-
- Does anyone have any ideas how I can get 3COM NFS to mount a Domain/OS
- disk/filesystem?
