- I've found setting X client options in ~/.Xdefaults requires the 'xrdb'
- command to make the settings take effect. Since I use 'csh', my ~/.login
- file does source ~/.Xinit which contains xrdb ~/.Xdefaults which
- must be repeated if ~/.Xdefaults is modified. Depending on how X is set up and
- maintained on your system, you may wish to use the -merge option of xrdb to
- avoid wiping out some predefined X client options.
