  33. I get that error with archie when I can't get to the host  archie server. Make sure your computer
  34. has internet capability. Try 'ping' on an outside machine to see if you are connected. Also you 
  35. can try another one of the archie servers. Try one of these:

  37. archie.ans.net  (USA [NY])
  38. archie.rutgers.edu (USA [NJ])
  39. archie.sura.net (USA [MD])
  40. archie.mcgill.ca (Canada)
  41. archie.funet.fi (Finland/Mainland Europe)
  42. archie.au (Australia)
  43. archie.doc.ic.ac.uk (Great Britian/ Ireland)
