- Hello world!
-
- I'm running Xfig and Transfig versions 2.1.5 and have found a problem that
- occured with a previous version but I never did anything about. If I start
- xfig using metric dimensions (xfig -metric) and draw a line in 10cm long, it
- comes out 9.5cm long on the laser printer. If I use imperial dimensions (xfig
- -imperial) and draw a line, it comes out the correct size.
-
- All figures drawn with metric dimensions come out shrunk by 0.95. This is
- rather annoying since I live in a country that uses metric rather than imperial
- and I would much rather use the measurements I know. Surely someone out there
- has found this problem and tried to fix it! I tried to fix version 2.1.3, but
- the rulers didn't work properly after that.
-
- If I get fed up enough I might have another go... But until then, does anyone
- know how to fix this?
-
- Thanks in advance,
-
