There is a good commercial product available called Simple Toolkit. This emulates
Motif Widgets using only Xlib calls, is fast and light, and comes complete with source. I have been using Simple Toolkit for almost a year now, with only minor annoyances
that were easily fixed, having the source. I have run this toolkit under Openwin 2.0,
Openwin 3.0, Motif and Desqview/X, with relatively few surprises (actually it
highlighted a font problem in Openwin 3.0 and a XSetDashes bug in Desqview/X).

P.S. This package is relatively inexpensive, I believe it was under $200.00
