- It is already possible to do this. You can put an encapsulated PostScript
- figure into xfig. If the eps file has a PostScript preview it will
- be displayed. The resolution is not perfect but it allows you to
- annotate it. The real PostScript is printed when you print the
- xfig composite, not the preview.

- How do you get a PostScript preview in the eps file? Easy, use xv. xv will
- display many graphics formats (including xwd) and convert them to other
- formats including eps. At the top of the "save PostScript file subpane
- be sure to click on the preview option.
