- Hi.
-
- Northeastern University is building a new network. We're planning
- on running X from pc's, Mac's, DECstations, X terminals, etc. I'm
- looking for pointers to people, data, test programs, whatever. where I can
- get some kind of statistics on bandwidth use by "typical" X
- applications. I care what "typical" means in the sense that I need to
- know what X applications where doing at the time.
-
- The point is to try and characterize and plan for network growth.
- I have both WAN and LAN. The LAN is Ethernet off of an FDDI ring.
-
- Any help appreciated. Thanks much.
