  19. The Xterm Control Sequences document says the PAGE (clear screen) escape code 
  20. is <ESCAPE><LINE_FEED>. It may be tricky getting the line_feed to be seen by the
  21. xterm, the shell tries to interpret it first. Hope this helps.
