  12.     I'm running an XView application (generated from DevGuide 3.0)
  13. which core dumps under the following situation:
  14.  
  15.     1) I run my XView client on a remote workstation and set the
  16.        DISPLAY variable to my local machine.
  17.     2) I click on a button a few times an the program dumps CORE. 
  18.        This does not happen when I run the client locally on my
  19.        workstation[regardless of how fast I click]. The button 
  20.        in question is an OPEN button. I am
  21.        testing this for the case when the user has not selected
  22.        a document to open. So, the user clicks, I read a text field,
  23.        check if it is NULL, and then set the footer with an message.
  24.        This is all I'm doing. When running remotely, the message appears
  25.         a number of times[ie., the code works], then my program crashes!!!
