- I'm running an XView application (generated from DevGuide 3.0)
- which core dumps under the following situation:
-
- 1) I run my XView client on a remote workstation and set the
- DISPLAY variable to my local machine.
- 2) I click on a button a few times an the program dumps CORE.
- This does not happen when I run the client locally on my
- workstation[regardless of how fast I click]. The button
- in question is an OPEN button. I am
- testing this for the case when the user has not selected
- a document to open. So, the user clicks, I read a text field,
- check if it is NULL, and then set the footer with an message.
- This is all I'm doing. When running remotely, the message appears
- a number of times[ie., the code works], then my program crashes!!!
-
- Any help is greatly appreciated.
