- folks,
-
- thanx to all peoples who sent me a copy of the openwin FAQ. after reading
- thru it, i didn't find the solution to my next question, so here goes:
-
- i would like to use different icons for standard tools such as
- cmdtool, shelltool, etc. but wait, there's more! i'd like to somehow
- tie this into a shell command (so i can do something like:
-
- shelltool -fn lucidasans -iconic -use_really_neat_icon &
-
- now, i've tried .Xdefault things like
-
- xterm*iconPixmap: /usr/openwin/share/include/images/really_neat_icon
-
- and also put in the iconPath. i got the response: Cannot convert
- string /usr/openwin/.../really_neat_icon to type Pixmap.
-
- so obviously it thinks my construction is incorrect. help there, please?
-
- i did manage to get past that the last time i tried this, though, and
- got some complaints about the bitmap type. i tried using iconedit
- (whee!), and when i saved the icon to xview format and reviewed it
- again, it had turned into a big (for an icon) black box. great saving
- stuff, that.
-
- any kind hints would be greatly appreciated.
-
- many thanx in advance,
-
-
