  13. I have been asked by the widow of a mom & pop business to help extract
  14. some mailing lists from an Informix database. Her late husband set the 
  15. system up, and she can't find complete documentation. :-(

  19.     Altos 986T-80.
  20.     Xenix 3.0e
  21.     Informix-SQL 1.10.2
  22.  
  23. I get the impression that this computer runs on a Z-80 cpu. Is this true?

  25. Does anyone have manuals for this version of Informix?
  26.  
  27. Does anyone know if Informix 2.0 for the above platform will be able to
  28. handle the databases and forms created by Informix 1.10.02? [She has
  29. a documentation set for version 2.0, and a set of 2.0 diskettes still
  30. sealed in their licensing envelope.]

  32. The system is in production use, serving 4 users handling inventory and
  33. A/R [using other software called "Trackline"]. 
  34.  
  35. [I fear depending on this system, but converting to a better supported 
  36. platform is not finacially feasible at this time].

  38. Does anyone have any software development tools for this version of Xenix?
  39. [C compiler, BASIC interpreter, FORTRAN, COBOL, PL/I ...]

  41. Does anyone have an emulator that will run Z-80 Xenix software on an
  42. 80x86? [If this is indeed a Z-80 CPU].
  43.  
  44. Does anyone have a version of Informix that runs on an 80x86 [MS-DOS or
  45. Xenix] that can read Informix databases created by the above system?
