- Yeah, but you paid for Windows and OS/2. I have a rather nice X spreadsheet
- and WYSIWYG word processor on my Linux system, and all free. No complaints
- here.

- Single user mode under *nix implies root access. This is not, IMHO, a
- very good default. I don't log in as root on my own Linux system unless
- necessary. If you do, don't complain when you accidentally blow away
- the /bin directory or something.

- But *nix admins are not perfect, and I've blown away a directory or two
- in my day. Actually, I have a large file of *nix administration horror
- stories that I will be editing and posting to the net in the next few
- days. Just in case you want to pick on *nix some more... ;-)
