  26. This may be possible... Of course, 'tc' would 1st have to issue a
  27. Read Block Limits to see if the device can do down as low as 1byte and
  28. then do the Mode Select... This also would mean that things be set up
  29. so that the device isn't _really_ in variable mode but in a small fixed
  30. blocksize mode... I'll have to see about this...
