- Hi again,
- I am having some difficulty installing TeX on a HP 9000/700 running
- HP-UX 8.05. I'm not sure whether I need to install it for X-windows or
- not. Firstly, I don't have all of the files necessary to build an
- X-windows TeX installation. Also, I'm not sure whether or not I need to or
- what to disable from the various makefiles if I don't. What exactly does
- X-windows support give me. Is it just the ability to preview? If so I
- could probably live without it for now, and I would just like to know how I
- can get it built without that, I've tried taking out the wlibs definitions
- from the various makefiles but seem to be getting deeper into it each time.
- If I do need the X-windows support, then could somebody please tell me
- where to get the library file needed for "-lXt" in the mf phase of the
- master Makefile.
- I have sent a subscription request to this list but if you could mail
- replies direct It would be helpful just in case this gets out before my
- subscription is done.
- Thanks.
