  12. I want to install TeX  on a system at work, but am having problems.
  13. Can anyone direct me a clear, straightforward set of instructions?

  15. I started by fetching WEB2C and trying to make it. Following the
  16. instructions in the README file, I modified a file and then tried
  17. to run <configure>. Whatever, I did, however, <configure> would not
  18. run, claiming it could not find source.
