  32. There is an excellent environment for the emTeX PC installation for English
  33. and/or German speaking users. It provides an On-line help for the most impor-
  34. tant LaTeX-commands. The help window appears when moving the cursor onto
  35. a command like \pagestyle and pressing Ctrl-F1. For the moment, only the
  36. german On-line help is available via anonymous ftp, I think the english
  37. version is currently in work. However, the program contains a documentation
  38. describing how to develop a file for on-line help.
  39. Ask the author for more details. The following is an author's announcement
  40. for the newest version.

  43. TeXShell is an integrating environment and user interface for
  44. the emTeX package, an excellent TeX implementation for PCs
  45. under DOS and OS/2.
  46.  
  47. The 2.5 version of TeXShell had some minor bugs, which are
  48. fixed in the new release. The only new feature is word wrap
  49. for the internal editor. The option file format has _not_
  50. been changed, so the upgrade requires only replacing the
  51. overlay and documentation; an included batch file will do
  52. this. However, it is important to delete all DSK files when
  53. upgrading.

  57.   ftp.uni-stuttgart,de, dir /soft/tex/machines/pc/emtex-texshell
