  13. i'm trying to install a new version of Latex on our HP machines -
  14. running Unix v8.
  15. Running through the instructions in the Latex.ins dicument,
  16. I've copied the new versions of the files to the relevant directories,
  17. and run initex to create a new version of lplain.fmt.

  19. The next step is to run virtex to produce a core dump: OK.

  21. The 'undump' command which follows this fails.
  22. The documentation says that the current release of WEB-to-C no longer uses undump,
  23. 'follow the instructions in the WEB-to-C documentation'.

  25. Hence my question: I can't find said instructions - I didn't install
  26. Latex, I've had a poke around, but cant see anything likely.

  28. Can some kind person tell me either what instruction I should
  29. use to create a new Latex which implements NFSS fonts, 
  30. or where I can find the information?

  37. And NOW I find that Latex complains about /bf in article.sty!!
  38. Seems that I'm half way to installing NFSS, but not far enough.
