  12. One of my users is using AMS-LaTeX.  He is using the amsart style.
  13. His paper has 2 authors and each author has an address and an e-mail
  14. address.  According to the AMS-LaTeX User's Guide (version 1.1
  15. 21 Jun 1991), the file should read:
  16. \author{first author's name}
  17. \address{first author's address}
  18. \email{first author's email address}
  19. \author{second author's name}
  20. \address{second author's address}
  21. \email{second author's email address}
  22.  
  23. When I do this, I get both authors names as expected.  However,
  24. at the end of the paper, I only get the second author's
  25. address and e-mail address and nothing for the first author.
  26. How can I get the first author's info?
  27. Also, the \\ command in the address is ignored and all lines
  28. are printed running together.  I noticed that amsart redefines
  29. \\.  Why is this?
