  18. there's probably a direct answer to that. however, for an ignorant
  19. like me, i'd either use a dvi previewer (like xdvi or view) and count,
  20. or use dvips to convert dvi -> (a redundant) ps file, but in the
  21. process, dvips counts the no. of pages for me.
