- I would like some help with a LaTeX macro, if someone would be so
- kind. I need to put $\Diamond$ in the left margin of my text, with
- the right edge of the diamond .25 in from the left edge of the text.
- I would like it to be called like this:
-
- \blackdiamond This is a paragraph with a $\Diamond$ off the left side.
-
- I am not sure how to do this. I don't think I want to kern, and I
- would like to have it .25 out from the edge of the paragraph,
- regardless of whether the paragraph is indented.
-
- So,
-
- \blackdiamond Here is some non-indented text with small margins,
- presumably at the beginning of a section or something.
-
- \blackdiamond Here is some indented text with small margins,
- presumably the next paragraph.
-
- Produces:
-
- D Here is some non-indented
- text with small margins,
- presumably at the beginning
- of a section or something.
- D Here is some indented
- text with small margins,
- presumably the next para-
- graph
-
-
- I don't know if this is of general interest, if it isn't please just
- reply by email. Even if it is, please reply by email as well as
- postings, because news here is not reliable, and sometimes does not
- come in for days, and then I am not sure we have it all... ;-/
-
- Thanks very much,
