  12. I would like some help with a LaTeX macro, if someone would be so
  13. kind.  I need to put $\Diamond$ in the left margin of my text, with
  14. the right edge of the diamond .25 in from the left edge of the text.
  15. I would like it to be called like this:

  17. \blackdiamond This is a paragraph with a $\Diamond$ off the left side.

  19. I am not sure how to do this.  I don't think I want to kern, and I
  20. would like to have it .25 out from the edge of the paragraph,
  21. regardless of whether the paragraph is indented.

  44. reply by email.  Even if it is, please reply by email as well as
  45. postings, because news here is not reliable, and sometimes does not
  46. come in for days, and then I am not sure we have it all... ;-/
