- While my site has the proper setup with \psfig and ``dvips'' for
- importing PostScript files into a LaTeX document, I seem to be having
- problems with the BoundingBox spec required in the .PS file. My
- figures are generated from a seperate site via FrameMaker 2.0 (an
- older version) and two sample files contain the information:
-
- *: grep -e BoundingBox *.ps
-
- blocks.ps:%%BoundingBox: (atend)
- blocks.ps:%%BoundingBox: 0 0 612 792
- fig2-1.ps:%%BoundingBox: (atend)
- fig2-1.ps:%%BoundingBox: 0 0 612 792
-
- The coordingates "0 0 612 792" seem to be hardcoded and appended to
- the end of the .PS files, rather than actually specifying the (x,y)
- coordinates of the lower left and upper right corners of BoundingBox.
- Could any LaTeX/TeX users relying on FrameMaker 2.0 please tell me how
- to get the program to set BoundingBox, or how I can fudge this with
- the bblx, bbllx, bblly, bburx and bbury fields of \psfig? (i.e.,
- how are these measured? what units? where is (0,0)?)
-
- I realize that the PostScript Programmer's Guide has a section on
- BoundingBox, but it's missing from our library and I'm scrounging
- around both our EE and CS departments to look at a personal copy.
- But any further wisdom on the matter is appreciated ...
