- Island's products work fine for the most part and are reasonably
- priced. The mail order UNIX applications software places generally
- will save you a few hundred from list price. I have very minor
- quibbles with Island Write but a new release is going to be out soon
- and those few quibbles might well be fixed in that release.

- Island Write is a lot like MacWrite in concept, Island Draw like Mac
- Draw, and Island Paint like MacPaint -- though they are clearly
- Motif/OpenLook style rather than Mac style. This is probably good in
- that it lets you have a consistent user interface on the UNIX machine.
