  14. I don't regularly read this group so I apologize if this has
  15. been asked before.

  17. I just brought home an AT&T 730 terminal.  I was able to connect
  18. to my host in the main window.  But when I tried to run layers so
  19. I could have multiple windows, the screen just locked up.  Since 
  20. I know almost nothing about layers, I'm turning to the net for help.
  21. Does anyone know what I should do to get layers to work?  I'm 
  22. logging in at 9600 baud via Datakit.  I invoke layers with the 
  23. following small script:

  25.     TERM=730
  26.     DMD=/usr/att/630
  27.     DMD630=/usr/att/630
  28.     EXINIT='set ai window=60 number nomesg'
  29.     export TERM DMD DMD630 EXINIT
  30.     layers -f .lay

  32. My ".lay" file contains four lines of the form:

  34.     X   X   X   X   ksh
  35.  
  36. where 'X' is a window corrdinate.  
  37.  
  38. Is there something I should include or is there a different way
  39. to invoke layers that would let me have multiple windows?
