- I bought a couple obsolete zenith notebook computers from the zenith
- user's group and I am findingt that they all seem to have a rather
- obnoxious problem with the external floppy drive interface. As
- I try to read from the floppy, I keep getting "Drive not ready: Abort
- Retry Ignore" errors. If I am just doing a copy, I can usually use Retry
- until the data gets read. If I am using something like WordPerfect
- I can not read them at all.
-
- I put in fresh back up batteries. The drives are setup as 720k. Is this
- a problem that was inherent in Zenith's early notebook computers or is there
- something I am doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
