  10. I bought a couple obsolete zenith notebook computers from the zenith
  11. user's group and I am findingt that they all seem to have a rather
  12. obnoxious problem with the external floppy drive interface. As
  13. I try to read from the floppy, I keep getting "Drive not ready: Abort
  14. Retry Ignore" errors. If I am just doing a copy, I can usually use Retry
  15. until the data gets read. If I am using something like WordPerfect
  16. I can not read them at all.

  18. I put in fresh back up batteries. The drives are setup as 720k. Is this
  19. a problem that was inherent in Zenith's early notebook computers or is there
  20. something I am doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
