  21.     If your HSIO (High Speed Serial I/O board) dies then this happens.
  22. These seem to be fairly fragile, I've had one (and possibly a second) die
  23. without even having terminals running on them, I think caused by bad power.
  24. Unplugging a RS232 style cable is _always_ risky when the machine is
  25. powered up, as the connector isn't designed for hot replacement.
