- Is anyone working on porting the GNU cc compiler
- to the transputer?
-
- I have looked into porting it but GNU's cc
- compiler expects a multi-register CPU and since
- the transputer is stack based, there
- could be some sticky problems to overcome.
-
- Even if a port is done, performance of the
- output code may suffer since it will be hard to
- use the same optimization routines.
-
- I'm still investigating the effort involved.
-
- Any comments?
-
- Thanks, Steve
