  12. If it is considered reasonable to force the programmer to declare the
  13. size of all arrays at compile time why isn't it reasonable to force
  14. the programmer to declare the depth of recursion at compile time?

  16. It seems to me that it would be better to take this approach than to
  17. have all the programmers writing their own code to implement recursion
  18. with all the wasted time and errors that involves.
