- Subject: Deskmate under non-native DOS
- Lines: 11
-
- I own a 1000 TL/3 and recently bought DOS. The machine has a
- pseudo-disk drive in ROM which contains the native DOS 3.3 and the
- deskmate startup files. If I boot with DOS 5 the ROM drive is no longer
- present and Deskmate will not even start up off the floppy (which
- contains all of the files that are on the ROM drive, even the hidden
- ones?
-
- This isn't a real problem now, but if I purchase a hard disk I will most
- probably place DOS 5 on it.
-
- Anyone have a solution?
