  15. Just got two 2nd hand Sun3 shoeboxes. Each contains a Micropolis 1325
  16. (71MB,MFM) drive and an Adaptec MFM-to-SCSI converter [Got this info
  17. from last posting to the net, thank you!].

  19. I am going to install them on my PC with a SCSI controller card, which
  20. is coming. The questions I have are:

  22. -How can I set the SCSI device number for the drives?
  23. -Do I have to do it by some jumper settings on the Adaptec card? I don't
  24.  have the documentation for the card:(
  25. -Or will the first drive on the daisy chain be device number 1, and so
  26.  on?

  28. Any info and suggestions are welcome. Maybe a telephone number for
  29. Adaptec? PLEASE REPLY BY EMAIL IF YOU CAN.
