- I need just a smidgen of help with these two products (don't we all :-)
-
- I have configured SunNet OSI to do null-network with an LSAP of 0x14 (rather
- than the default of 0xfe)
-
- The problem I have is that mail passing through the RFC-822 -> X.400 gateway
- that has come from the unix side of the gateway stalls in the outgoing RTS
- queue. The MHS trace shows that the conversation is terminated at the
- transport level with "bad parameters".
-
- Mail from the X.400 side to the Unix side is fine, and unix mail that
- originates from the gateway (destined for X.400 recipients) is fine too. It's
- only unix mail that comes from beyond the gateway machine that has this
- problem.
-
- I have run an ethernet trace on the Conversation and it appears that the
- Sun is either objecting to a valid credit reduction request from the called
- machine or is concatenating data onto the back of an ACK (which is against
- the OSI rules).
-
- If anyone is able to help I'm sure that we can come to some arrangement
- about the transmission of configs/traces, etc.
