  17. My local sun technical wiz mentioned that DEC is selling OSF/1 for Suns!

  19. My .02 worth: What I've seen of Sol2/SVR4 looks better than
  20. HP-UX and not as weird as AIX. You want real hair pulling, eyeball bouncing OS fun,
  21. look at these OS choices. Solaris 2.0 may start to look better and better to you.

  23. Decisions like moving from BSD to SVR4 are ugly but every vender makes major changes. Get used to it. People like bashing Sun, but I know a heck of a lot of people who are
  24. on other boxes (higher performance even) that are wishing they had Suns.

  26. Fun it is not, but keep things in perspective. You can get bad treatment anywhere.
