-
- Is there a BSD Compatibility Package for the Suns running under
- Solaris 2.1/SunOs 5.x? We were discussing SysV in my Computer Systems
- course a while back, and it seems like BSD and Xenix Compatibility
- Packages were fairly common for all SysVR4 systems.
-
- We'd like to go with a newer Sun platform, but BSD compatibility is
- important. Most of our users are not programmers, and would like to be
- able to compile/run most software as-is that they FTP.
-
- Thanks for any information.
