  17. There is a brain-damaged version of awk for VOS where I work; I might
  18. be able to find the source.  It does not allow for multiple lines in
  19. scripts, and many features (e.g., substr) are not implemented.  We do
  20. have a version of perl, and it seems pretty complete so far, but I've
  21. only been playing with it for a couple of days, during compiles.

  23. I'm interested in the same kind of things:  a complete port of GNU
  24. emacs, awk, tcsh, etc.  Has anybody done these things (especially the
  25. emacs)???? Thanks,
