  15. I'm reproducing this for those who don't follow comp.unix.shell. Many
  16. problems of special interest to SGI users have been fixed between 6.02 and
  17. 6.03, among others the "-t" operator which is used in SGI's default .login. I
  18. haven't tried lately, but one now ought to be able to change one's shell from
  19. csh to tcsh without worrying about startup files at all. Note that problems
  20. with "-t" and similar teensy bugs have often been the cause of the "my
  21. xsession went south" questions so often seen in this group.

  31. This is the release announcement of tcsh version 6.03.  Tcsh is a
  32. version of the Berkeley C-Shell, with the addition of: a command line
  33. editor, programmable completion and listing, and a bunch of
  34. small additions and bug fixes to the shell itself.

  36. Tcsh now runs on VMS/Posix, OS/2-emx and Coherent, as well as many known
  37. and unknown unix variants :-)

  39. Tcsh-6.03 does not contain any new features, but it has lots of bug fixes
  40. and minor cleanups.
