- I was reading the SGI literature and it mentioned that
- the SGI box can use either Area or Point Sampling to
- do anti-aliasing. Does anyone know the algorithm it
- uses to compute the area sampling? Does it explicitly
- compute the exact area intersected with the polygon, or
- does it approximate it in some way? Is there any relationship
- with Catmull's algorithm from 1978 (circa) ?
