  25. It's not the spool system, it's the port itself.  It happens even when I cat to
  26. /dev/plp.

  43. I'm not sure what the problem is, but I suspect handshaking with the QMS.  The same parallel port seems to work fine with a Seiko CH5504PM3 color printer.

  45. I thought I had the problem licked by adding to the spool system a call to a small program I worte to reset the parallel port.  But recently that stopped
  46. working too.  This is on a 4D/35 running 4.0.5.  I have a call open with the 
  47. TAC that just went up one level.  Anyone else have any ideas?
