  12. We have been thinking about getting a tape drive for our indigo, since we
  13. seem to be unable to read SGI tapes on any drives hooked up to other vendor's
  14. machines.

  16. I have two questions:

  18. 1) Will a tape drive bought for an indigo work on other systems? (i.e. suns,
  19.    DEC risc, HP 700s, etc.)
  20. 2) What would be the best drive to get, and from which company?
