- We have had a similar problem since at least 3.3 on our PI.

- If a job is sent while the printer is off, the port locks and it
- is necessary to reboot. Someone posted a program to reset the
- port here before, but I've had limited success with it. Our
- solution was to put a sign on the printer asking to never turn it off.
