  25. I dont know the 3120, bu most of the time IRIX likes to have the first 
  26. serial port as the console - you have to do some work to stop it.

  28. The top right key on the alphanumeric keyboard on newer DEC terminals is
  29. a delete, which IRIX by default sees as the -interrupt- key (like most 
  30. System V derivatives). Once you are in as root you could reconfigure that 
  31. port.

  33. Also ensure you set the terminal up in vt100 mode, that way at least you 
  34. have an escape and a backspace key, even though they are in a funny position
  35. buried in the middle of the function key row.
