- If you are on the internet (or really trust the time on a particular
- machine or your network), you can use ntpdate (part of the xntp
- distribution) to sync the client machines to the master(s). Just run ntpdate
- periodically via cron on your slave machines and your clocks should
- be quite accurate. You dont need to use either timeslave/timed at all.

- The xntp distribution contains good documentation on how to configure the
- ntp software to best suite your site, perhaps you might want to give it a try.
- You *dont* need to port the ntp software, thats already done for you.
