  12. I'm planning on spending 10-11k on a new computer this spring and
  13. I was wondering what SGI offered in that ball park. The comparable
  14. Sun offering is the SparStation 10/30 at 100 MIPs at $18k multiplied
  15. by a 40% educational discount. Does SGI offer a educational discount
  16. on their machines? I think I'm in the 3000 chip range around an 
  17. Iris Indigo if there is a substantial educational discount. What
  18. is the MIPs comparision between a the 3000 and 4000 chips and what
  19. is the cheapest 4000? Please email replies b/c I do not monitor this
  20. group.
