- I've noticed some interesting behavior regarding movie and it's affect on
- available swap space.
-
- When using movie to view a large number of small images (or a small quantity
- of large images), I see an understandable increase of "in use" swap pages.
- However, when exiting movie, the amount of "free" swap pages does not return
- to it's previous value and continues to show a significant amount "in use".
-
- Is this normal behavior? What's the *best* way to get back the free swap?
-
- Thanks in advance...
