  12. Hi everybody. Gilles Kohl, the German genius responsible for the excellent
  13. 95LX version of Tetris, asked me to post this announcement in .PALMTOPS .

  24. Coming soon to an HP95 near you: IR95, the intelligent remote control
  25. software for your palmtop. Record all your remote controls codes and
  26. assign them to the keys of your HP95. Most expensive remote control
  27. you ever had :-)

  33. - Non-commercial, freely distributable (see 'registration' below)
  34.   (IR95 may not be sold for profit either)
  35. - EXE version for recording/organizing (stores *.KIR files)
  36.   (EXE version also does playback, for testing)
  37. - system manager compatible EXM version (6K in size) for playback only.
  38.   (uses *.KIR files)
  39. - runs in graphics mode. Large display of assigned keys thru use of 4x5 font.
  40. - PCX help page in EXE version.

  43. - Nameing of key function (for ex. VCR>>) and key designation (for ex [UP])
  44. - assignment of entire KIR-files to keys. You can organize your files

  52. V1.0 of IR95.EXE and IR95.EXM is available now. However, I don't have a direct 
  53. access to comp.sys.palmtops or FTP servers, and the indirect access may take 
  54. its time - IR95 will probably not appear on the net before christmas '92. If 
  55. you want to get it earlier or want to be sure to get the most recent version, 
  56. see 'registration' below.

  62. Becoming a registered IR95 user is available at the cost of a
  63. postcard.  (Please send a nice one, from your hometown).
  64. Send a 3.5" (730K or 1.44MB) disk along with the postcard to:

  71. An SASE is not necessary - the postcard is mandatory, though. (A friend of
  72. mine is collecting them). Don't forget both your snailmail and e-mail
  73. address. I can send e-mail in the Internet and FIDONet, volume is limited,
  74. though. (Don't send me large-sized mails, please. About 8K is the max.)

  76. As a registered user, you will be sent the most recent IR95 version on
  77. your disk. You will also be informed of updates thru your e-mail address.

  80. your address, so I don't have to type it in.

  85. - Macro recording. (Assign keystroke sequences to a single key)
  86. - Function library, IR95API.LIB - for users of Borland C languages.

  88.   (Load/save KIR file, IR record/playback, load and display PCX file etc.)
