  17. : We are running Netware NFS v1.2 on a 3.11 server and

  19. : say that this is no ordinary server.  It has appoximately
  20. : eight thousand user accounts, and each user has a

  35. : listing very large directories (there are some directories
  36. : on this server with thousands of subdirectories), but it
  37. : also happens on small directories when the server is
  38. : heavily loadedWe were counting heavily 
  39. : on using this product, and are loathe to give up on
  40. : it.  Has anyone else seen similar things with this
  41. : product?  Is anyone else working it as hard as we
  42. : are trying to?  Does anyone have suggestions for things
  43. : we can change about in the export or mount parameters
  44. : (it is currently mounted rw,hard,intr,bg,timeo=y,
  45. : retrans=6,rsize=8192,wsize=8192)?  Thanks in advance

  48. Have you installed patch NFS113.ZIP yet? If not then get it from Netwire
  49. and apply it. This patch has fixes for any NFS file service errors or bugs
  50. that have been encountered up to this point.
